This document sets out the terms and conditions for using the "Official Budapest Castle Bus" service provided by electroconcept Kft. (registered office: 1204 Budapest, Pöltenberg Street 11/B; tax number: 25898600-2-42; company registration number: 01-09-295141; hereinafter referred to as: Service Provider). The Service Provider provides travel services in accordance with Hungarian law – in particular the Civil Code (Act V of 2013) and Government Decree 45/2014. (II.26.).
1. Tickets and Validity
Tickets are valid throughout the day from the time of purchase. Passengers must retain their tickets for the entire duration of the journey. Lost or damaged tickets cannot be replaced. Tickets can be purchased upon boarding the bus or at designated sales points. Passengers travelling without a valid ticket are required to pay the full fare.
The ticket is a return ticket, valid for one complete loop starting from the point of boarding. Once the loop is completed and the passenger returns to the original boarding point, the ticket becomes invalid.
A valid ticket for the day is required to use the service.
2. Ticket Types and Prices
Round-trip (return) adult ticket: 15 € / 6000 HUF
Round-trip (return) student ticket (ages 8–16): 10 € / 4000 HUF
Children aged 0–7 travel free of charge.
Prices in euros are for reference only.
Children may only travel when accompanied by an adult. Student discounts are only available upon presentation of a valid Hungarian or international student ID.
3. Departure Times and Locations
Buses operate at regular intervals but not according to a fixed schedule. The Service Provider strives to offer a predictable service adapted to traffic conditions. The Service Provider reserves the right to change routes and departure times without prior notice due to traffic, safety or other external circumstances (e.g. events, road closures).
4. Route and Traffic Conditions
Routes may be altered when necessary, particularly due to external, unavoidable circumstances. The Service Provider is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control (e.g. traffic jams, demonstrations, road closures).
This service does not include guided tours.
5. Vehicles and Safety
The service is provided with open-air electric buses. The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse boarding for safety reasons, even if the passenger has a valid ticket. All passengers must wear a seatbelt while on board.
Seats are not guaranteed. Boarding is subject to available capacity.
6. Refund Policy
If the Service Provider is unable to provide the service within the validity period of the ticket, passengers are entitled to a full refund.

7. Lost Property and Accidents
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. The Service Provider is not liable for lost or damaged items unless the damage was caused by an employee of the Service Provider.
Liability is limited to the value of the ticket, except in the case of personal injury or death.
8. Prohibited Activities
The consumption of the following is prohibited on board: alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, sweets (e.g. ice cream, liquid candy).
9. Travel with Strollers and for Passengers with Reduced Mobility
The Service Provider strives to ensure safe travel for all passengers but reserves the right to refuse service if safety is at risk.
Vehicles are not fully wheelchair accessible. Passengers with reduced mobility are kindly requested to contact us in advance for further information.

11. Data Processing
The Service Provider processes personal data solely for contact purposes and service provision via email or phone communication initiated by the customer. The legal basis of data processing is the Service Provider’s legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), for responding to the customer’s inquiries and fulfilling the service.
Personal data are processed only until the service is provided, after which they are promptly deleted.
Data subjects have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of their personal data.
